If you’ve not heard of Seth Godin before just search for him on Amazon and you’ll find a huge volume of extremely smart, very well written and highly compelling marketing books.
If you sell anything online (or even offline) there’s one blog post of Seth’s in particular you need to read because he talks about the importance of design and it’s impact on your profits.
As Seth so rightly said… “Design can take money and time and guts” but what do you get in return?

Seth Godin is truly amazing!
I have read this article before. since reading it I have paid much more attention to graphics on stores. I like his comment “If the design actively gets in the way of the story you tell or the utility you deliver, you lose money and share.”
I’ve seen many that do.
