Have you ever wondered how many sources of website traffic there could be?

Today I fired up Mindjet Mindmanager and went about brainstorming the various sources of traffic available today. All together I found 17 of them and within each source there are perhaps dozens more to be found.

Here are 5 just off the top of my head…

1. Search Engines
2. Online Advertising
3. Social Networking
4. Integration Marketing
5. Viral Marketing

Thanks a lot! Great post, fantastic PDF. Just what I needed and was looking for. I knew there was a reason why I’m on you list. :-)

Great use of MindManager which gives a clear overview of the sources of web site traffic. You could add Ecademy and LinkedIn to your Social Networking sites

Hi Brian,

I work for Mindjet, makers of MindManager, in Customer Advocacy. I came across your map and it struck a chord in me, I love it. I’d like to contact you about some possible partnership opportunities, but can’t find your email address. Please contact me at the one I provided, if you’d like to chat.

Best,

Gaelen O’Connell

Hi Brian,

This is a very useful map. Would you consider making this available in our map library on biggerplate.com? It would be a great map for our users to get access to.

Best wishes,

Nick Carpenter

Brian,

I wanted to thank you for the time and effort, as well as your expertise, in creating this map. It has already sparked some new thinking in my approach and also introduced me to MindManager.

Thank you.

Yours in Success,

Hi Shawn

No problem, I’m glad to help.

Mindjet Manager is the best mind mapping software I’ve found for both Mac and PC. Creating mind maps like this one really helped me to clarify my own thinking too.

All the best!

Excellent information as usual. I’m using the mind map daily now. The biggest issue I have is staying focused on the tasks that drive profit. I am working sharpening that skill and have found that many others do have that problem as well.
